Heavy infantry

Plot

We play for Hans, who was told to defend the front line from the red communists. Red Line soldiers attack the Reich in waves. But our task is not to let them take over, for this we use various weapons ranging from Gatling and ending with a grenade launcher.

Advice for passing

– Do not gatling at opponents in short bursts - kill everyone at once like Rambo.
– When Shield Bearers Appear, immediately throw all explosive grenades at them, or water them with lead from a Gatling gun. Do not try to kill the main one from behind.
– When will you destroy the shield bearers, enemy snipers will interfere all the time. Destroy snipers from the rail without hesitation, when they appear. If you are playing in Ranger Hardcore mode, and you can control the recoil of the gatling, shoot right from the machine gun at the Reds.
– When an enemy machine gunner fires at you, hide behind cover, don't shoot him, he will shoot you anyway.
– Shoot the tank with the grenade launcher only, which an ally will give you.

Kshatriyas

Plot

There are only five people in the group. “Brain” groups - Shaman gives tasks to find pre-war items, which will be very useful in the study of pre-war Moscow. For each item found, the kshatriya receives gold cartridges, which he can spend on the acquisition and improvement of weapons, purchase of first aid kits, filters at the gunsmith Kuzmich. Gas mask replacement is free of charge. The main task of the kshatriya is to find the secret map of Metro-2. As the young kshatriya progresses, he gets to know the rest of his group..

Our protagonist gets the title “Kshatriya” and joins a group of local, who search the great library. Your main task – find the secret Metro map – 2. In a group 5 human:
Shaman (Leader of the whole gang) – gives tasks to find objects, which will be useful in exploring Moscow.

Bar and Su (fierce boys, who wear vests and will help you throughout the DLC) - two twin brothers, helping the protagonist.

Advice for passing

– Listen to all characters and explore shops and prices.
– You can not buy anything yet, just stomp on and do what they say.
– Loot and gut slain monsters, inserting light bulbs along the way (to find the way back).
– Don't go outside, it's too early to go there, you don't have enough money and weapons. As soon as the bag is full, go back and rest, bribe weapons and filters, and go in search again.
– If the bag is incomplete and there are not enough filters, then we stomp into the library.
– Reaching the premises, where the next librarian sleeps, kill him or go around quietly.
– Approximate time to get to the shelter from the library ~ 30 seconds.

Snipers

Plot

The protagonist of this level is an unknown Red Line professional sniper. Saboteur and sniper arrive at the Reich Outpost on the surface. They must make their way to the Black Station, to scout the situation at the station. The sniper takes a position and opens fire from the Clapperboard at opponents on the tower, after clears patrols from below. Saboteurs are sent to the Black Station on the ground.

Advice for passing

– Don't get caught by lightning, who can light you up. If you get caught by a flash of lightning in the field of view of the enemy, then he will notice you.

– Don't try to stun opponents, just kill (maybe because we play as RED).

Tower (very difficult)

Plot

Due to the received wounds in the leg, the captain is invited to practice new technology, so as not to lose experience. The captain climbs into the chair and goes to VR.
The task is extremely simple, on large terrain, you need to contain waves of enemies: soldiers, mutants.

General

– After each level (not waves) new weapons will be available.

– After the first level, you can choose difficult enemies (normal, tall, higher)

– On the ground (between waves or during a wave) you can buy cartridges and fighters, for cartridges, which you will be given for every murder, for a double kill they give twice as much, fighters and ammo will be needed in the last levels. Soldiers can only be purchased at 3 level.
– You don't have to kill enemies, your task – hold out for a certain time at the level, after which the assistants will say something like: “Wow, like this master class”, but it will be difficult to hold out against a horde of soldiers or monsters (almost impossible), so you better kill them.
– Do not let enemy soldiers open the gate by any means., otherwise they will climb from all sides, which will greatly complicate the passage.

Level 1 - Fourth Reich

Easy enough level. Two waves, on the first wave the opponents are armed “Bastards”, and on the second wave already “By murderers”. Also simplifies the task, that opponents appear from one place, just don't let them open the gate.

Level 2 - Carriers

The map has become twice as large. There are also features: if difficulty is selected “Ranger”, then the card will be dark. On the first and second waves there are ordinary socks, which do not pose a serious danger. But from the third wave, female noses will go, shaping local shock waves, which will slow down the player, as well as killer noses (withstand more damage and inflict increased damage to the player). The female noses should be killed first., so you can move around normally, and then kill the usual noses.
Best to take a weapon: Kalash, Revolver, “Ashot”. We kill female noses with a Kalash or a revolver, but “Ashot'om” regular socks.

Level 3 - Carriers

There are no differences from the second level, but female noses and killer noses appear on earlier waves. When the noses start hitting the gate, then just throw them a grenade, a grenade flies through the gate. Don't let your noses come close initially, keep them at a distance and shoot them. It is best to take the farthest soldiers on the last wave, because. there will trample a LOT of mutants. You can't buy it again, if you bought them earlier.
I advise you to take a weapon: Kalash, Bottom line, Valve.

Level 4 - Fourth Reich

Opponents have become more tenacious, in the earlier stages, heavyweights appear with “By murderers”, snipers appear on the second wave, armed “Translate”.
I advise you to take a position on top of the respawning opponents, with such a position, opponents will climb only two paths, which will be clearly visible to you and it will be easy for you to destroy them. Do not let the gate on the top floor open by any means., because. it will become much more difficult for you, if they open on the first floor, it's not scary, they will still follow two paths.
Best to take a weapon: ВСВ (one-shot headshots of all but the heavyweights), Translation, Bottom line.

Level 5 - Porters with librarians

Total 3 waves, but the 3rd wave is just awful, Librarians will trample on it.
I advise you to buy a soldier on the second wave, they will immediately shoot off the noses and will not let them reach you. On the third wave, you can safely take the Gatling (lies at the level). When will the librarians go, your soldiers will be immediately destroyed, your tactic is to just quietly retreat back to the mines.
Take your weapon: ВСВ, Saiga, Translation. On the third wave, you can replace BCV with Gatling.

Spider's lair

Plot

Together with experienced Tretyakov stalkers Semyon and Petrovich, the main character in the "Float" bar discusses a plan to infiltrate a secret missile complex, not marked on any map. Semyon knows the exact location, thanks to my father, who even before the war served in the army and told his son everything. After resting, the group sets off.

A couple of days later, the stalker wakes up in a den of spiders in the bowels of the bunker. He discovers, that is braided into a cocoon and, barely free, goes in search of partners. The main task of the stalker is to get to the surface.

We drink together with the men in the bar “Float”, discussing a plan to infiltrate a secret complex, which is not marked on maps. But Semyon knows where the complex is and they hit the road.. A couple of days later, our main character wakes up in a den of spiders. He is entangled in a cocoon and, freed, he goes in search of his partners. Our main task – get to the surface.

Advice for passing

– Spider cocoons must be burned with a flamethrower, if they interfere with the passage, or opening the door.
– Spiders roll onto their backs faster, if you shine on them not only with a lantern, but also a lighter.
– Armored spiders are best burned with a lantern, and then finish off with a knife

Plot

In this add-on you can visit the Museum of the Metro game, shoot at the shooting range and arena. In the museum you will see all the monsters from the Metro Last Light game and all the unique characters, eg, Hana, Paul and others. You can also take tests at the shooting range (them 10). You can also go through the arena (10 trials), 9 and 10 the test is just impossibly hard, if you pass them, you can consider yourself a true pro gamer (achievement for this will not be given).

Advice for passing

– When passing 9 and 10 testing the arena, I advise you to take the weapon of the BCV, Translation, Paragraph.
– Only shoot zombies in the head, the body is useless.

Pavel

Plot

The Adventure of Pavel Morozov (Major of the Red Line). Your aim – get to the bar, and there your people will meet you.

Advice for passing

– You can kill everyone left and right.
– When you see two soldiers playing Russian roulette, you can wait until they disperse and go to the revolver and insert a cartridge there, what will happen next you will see for yourself :D.
– You can complete the level without even picking up your weapon, ie. on stealth, well, as you know.

Khan

Plot

main characters – Ulman and Khan. The level starts from that, that our main character was ordered to blow up the Hansa train captured by the red. After the train explosion, our GG was about to leave, but Han jumps out from under the wreckage of the train. He tells us, that he and Artyom were chasing this train (level "Pursuit") and I am sure, that Artyom will find his way to Polis. Khan and Ulman also go there., to warn Melnik of the Reds' plan.

Advice for passing

– After the screamer in the ventilation, do not go anywhere (do not move at all), otherwise when Khan asks for a lighter, to light the torch, even though you will click on “B”, then the lighter will not be available.
– Do not go to the generator room until the khan tells you, otherwise you will be eaten by mice.

Achievements that can be obtained

Anna

Plot

The action takes place parallel to the level "Ash". Anna's task is to help Artyom find and eliminate Little Black. Anna covers Artyom from a pack of guards, and then shoots Black, but he stuns Artyom.

Advice for passing

– You can look at Artyom, from all angles.
– Spare no ammo on the guards.
– You won't hit Black in any way, although they shot accurately.
