Immobilization – negative effect of the state, applied to survivors in Dead by Daylight. Notifies the player that, that the character is unable to perform most of the basic actions.
Features of the
Actions, which are blocked by the effect “Immobilization”:
Heal and mend yourself and your comrades
Repair generators
Breaking hooks
Clear totems
Search chests
Use, take and throw away items
For survivors
A number of features, associated with the effect “Deep wound”
A yellow blood line appears on the status bar next to the character icon, indicating the time, the remainder of its transition to the state “at death's door”
The effect of a deep wound is accompanied by the appearance of blood stains on the player's screen, as well as “fading” screen and aura colors of various objects
Does not affect movement speed
Timer “Deep wound” stops for a while, when the survivor runs or tries “patch yourself up”
Patch yourself up
Survivor with effect “deep wound” can “patch yourself up” alone or with the help of allies without using any special skills or items (in this case, only the visual effect is removed, wound, if there is, remains):
The action to patch yourself lasts 12 sec. (self-medication) or 8 sec. (patch up with an ally)
This stops the progress of the bleeding timer.
In the process “fiddling” no reaction checks
Healing progress is cumulative and does not reset when interrupted
For this activity, the survivor receives an additional. blood glasses “Patched” in category “Survival”
This activity is not “treatment” and does not reveal the survivor's aura to the killer, using the skill “Nurse call”

The effect can be applied for a certain time or until a certain event occurs
This blocks the possibility of self-healing or healing by an ally until the end of the weakening
Survivor with effect “Weakening” marked with a special icon next to the player's nickname

Effect “Haste” stacks with skills, affecting the speed of movement of the character

The survivor will know about the presence of this effect by the corresponding icon on the right side of the screen or by the red heal bar if an ally is being healed
Injury reduces the survivor's healing rate by 20%
The duration of the usual treatment under this effect is 20 seconds
An effect can only be applied from one source (skill, improvement in strength)
The effect reset timer stops during active Survivor actions.
Does not increase the number of charges, necessary for complete healing when self-healing with a first aid kit (only affects the treatment time)

The visual impairment effect affects “Reading Aura” survivor, which the:
Hung on a hook
Is in a dying state
Uses skills and enhancements to enhance the reading of the aura

The protection effect extends to survivors in the condition “wounded”
The duration of the effect is determined by the source, from which it is superimposed
Typically the effect “Persistence” gives way to the effect “Deep wound” (after a successful assassin attack)

Receiving this effect is accompanied by visual and audio notification of players in the role of survivors

Insanity levels
The game has several levels of Madness:
Madness I. Makes the survivors scream, giving out their positions to the Doctor. The scream is out of control, may occur during generator repair or treatment (self-medication)
Madness II. General hallucinations are added to the first level disorders, in which the survivor sees the aura of the ghostly Doctor in different places of the location
Madness III. Level 2 disorders get worse. Survivors often scream, giving out their positions to the Doctor. Survivors cannot take healing actions, repairs and breakdowns, and also unable to cleanse totems, search chests and use items until then, not yet “come to their senses” and will not drop the third level of Madness
To reset the third level of insanity you need “recover” After going through multiple reaction checks (Skillchekov)
Features of the
Fatigue goes away after a while, if the survivor is not running
Some skills, affecting movement speed, ignore this effect when activated (eg “Adrenaline”)
The effect is reset when hanging a survivor on a hook and persists when entering a cage of redemption (Redemption Cage Kind of Hook “Executioner”)
Fatigue does not affect walking or crouching speed
Features of the
The corruption effect lasts until then., until the corresponding burning totem is cleared
Corruption effects from different skills are cumulative
The spread of the corruption effect does not depend on the condition of the survivors
Features of the
The effect can be applied as for a certain time, and until the survivor is completely cured
Skills (Survivor skills) “Babysitter”, “Self-preservation”, “Luck”, “No regret” allow to hide blood stains
Skill “Bloodhound” (Killer skill) makes blood traces brighter
